Lightning protection system includes lamp posts on this parking garage
The lampposts on the top level of this multi-story parking structure have air terminals (lightning rods) and are connected to the building’s lightning protection system. The garage is located in Rosemont, Illinois, near Chicago’s O’hare airport. The photo is looking east, just before sunset, a few days before the summer solstice.
